So most voters here agree that Kyl has been part of the problem, the trick is convincing them that Pederson could be part of the solution.Eli Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00792743206074537073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14231145.post-1158422819666489192006-09-16T09:06:00.000-07:002006-09-16T09:06:00.000-07:00A couple more-or-less on-topic questions, Eli.(1) ...A couple more-or-less on-topic questions, Eli.

(1) I know you were for Cappicioli in the primary but plan to vote for Cohen now that she's the Democratic nominee. How active do you think you'll be on her behalf?

(2) What kind of buzz is there in the district over the issues you've raised here? Are people who aren't dedicated Democrats getting expressing disgust with Renzi over these issues, or are they essentially shrugging their shoulders and getting on with their daily lives?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14231145.post-1158368461786566752006-09-15T18:01:00.000-07:002006-09-15T18:01:00.000-07:00A source inside told me today that of the 14 fundr...A source inside told me today that of the 14 fundraising emails he's gotten from Roe, 13 were sent after 11pm and one was sent around 6 am.

But that doesn't mean much... one could do all the work during "business" hours and simply pull the trigger when it's considered safe.Jane Arizonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16195552678105294874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14231145.post-1158358545658926992006-09-15T15:15:00.000-07:002006-09-15T15:15:00.000-07:00"most people vote along party lines, and since his..."most people vote along party lines, and since his district is predominantly Republican, well..."

You might want to check your facts before you make statements like that. The fact is this is a Democratic district.

Democrats have a voter registration advantage here. Greenlee, Graham, and Gila are historically Democratic counties, as are Apache and Coconino. The only place Republicans really have an advantage is in Yavapai.

I don't think it's going to be so easy for Renzi, especially with a fighter like Ellen Simon coming out swinging after the primary.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14231145.post-1158336379799735862006-09-15T09:06:00.000-07:002006-09-15T09:06:00.000-07:00It's funny you should write about Renzi. Problem is, most people vote along party lines, and since his district is predominantly Republican, well...

I predict an easy win come November.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
